Petergof - an immensely luxurious Imperial estate on the shore of Finnish Gulf (Baltic Sea), founded by Peter the Great in 1714-1725, and famous for its fountains.

Tsarskoye Selo (Pushkin): - magnificent Emperor Palace , a brilliant masterpiece of Russian baroque, which was created by the architect Rastrelli in 1752 -1756, during the reign of the Empress Elizabeth. Here Alexander Pushkin, one of the most famous Russian Poets, started writing poems and became famous. The true glory of the Palace is the Amber Room. The exquisite room is made of several tons of the golden tree resin and is often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World".
